Ideal for weekends, longer stays or a short stopover on a trip, the charming Ibis Limoges Center hotel, classified as Bâtiment de France, is located at the heart of Limoges, "the city of porcelain". The property is within walking distance of major cultural activities, such as the porcelain and enamel museums and pedestrian streets with beautiful half-timbered houses. The owner of the hotel wanted to equip this "3 stars" hotel with our BACnet guest room management system to add some "4 stars" design and functionalities to the rooms management, both for the guests and the hotel staff.
Given the requirements, the solution Legrand provided perfectly matched the owner needs. To improve the guest stay for a whole new comfort experience, the guest room management system installed consisted in the BACnet IP Room Controller with a mix of mechanical commands from the contemporary white Dooxie range with its original design. For an even more comprehensive experience, there have been added the UX Touch bedside panels, the keycard holders, and the corridor indicators in white version.
Among other products that have been installed, Legrand also supplied the cabinet with RCU and the power supply, while the room HVAC management has been made possible through the integration with Mitsubishi Electric (technology R2).
A dedicated BMS with supervision function, NIAGARA, has been installed by BC Connectibat system integrator who also took care of the guest room management configuration part.
